Attention all modellers! No matter what scale's your preference, you are welcome to join us. We have a thriving EMGS North East and Borders section which meets every 6 weeks or so.
Our aim is to attract new people to the hobby, help them improve their own skills and share our knowledge. If you're new to the hobby then our regular meetings are a great place to pick up hints, tips and advice on all aspects of railway modelling. We usually have a practical demonstration on specific subjects as part of the agenda. Subjects as diverse as weathering wagons and rolling stock, painting and lining loco's, converting a Hornby A3 to EM and most recently, loco chassis building the Easi-Rider way.
